1. Information we collect
- Information you provide directly, such as account details, profile data, event details, messages, and payment-related information.
- Automatic information, such as browser and device data, usage logs, cookies, and session information.
- Information from third parties, including social login providers like Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Facebook, and payment processors that support transactions.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Platform, maintain accounts, and facilitate connections between organizers and providers.
- To process transactions, support event workflows, and coordinate bookings.
- To send operational notifications by email, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-app channels according to your preferences.
- To provide support, prevent fraud, investigate abuse, and comply with law.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information.
- We share relevant details with other users when necessary to facilitate a booking or event workflow.
- We share information with service providers that help us operate Raymi, including hosting, analytics, Stripe for payment processing, Stream Chat, Meta/WhatsApp, and Twilio for SMS when enabled.
- We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect safety, rights, or the integrity of the Platform.
- We may share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
4. Your rights
All users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, adjust notification preferences, and opt out of non-transactional marketing communications.
- California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete, and non-discrimination. We do not sell personal information.
- Virginia residents and residents of other applicable U.S. states may have similar rights under state privacy laws, including appeal rights where required.
- We aim to respond to verified privacy requests within 45 days when required by applicable law.
5. Ecuador — LOPDP rights
For users in Ecuador, the processing of personal data is governed by the Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos Personales (LOPDP) and its regulations. As the Responsible Party, RaymiApp S.A.S. guarantees the rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, portability, and restriction of processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@raymiapp.com.
7. Data security
We use industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS, secure session handling, encryption where appropriate, and periodic security review of critical systems.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active and as needed to operate Raymi.
- Deleted account data is generally removed or de-identified within 30 days, subject to operational constraints.
- Tax, accounting, and transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years.
- Analytics or reporting datasets may be kept in anonymized form.
9. International transfers
Raymi's U.S. operations are hosted primarily in the United States. If you access the Platform from another country, you consent to the transfer and processing of data in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
10. Children
Raymi is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and support security. Optional analytics may be introduced separately, and browser controls can be used to manage non-essential cookies.
12. Third-party links
The Platform may link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party websites, apps, or services.
